Access to the gym will be controlled through the membership, with the following levels of access:

- Categorizing and reviewing the level of other users;
- Overseeing weight programmes; and

Level 2 - Expert lifters: People, who are highly competent lifters, will set their own weights schedule and are over 18 and are able to lift with other level 1 or 2 members.
Level 3 - Able lifters: People who have a rudimentary understanding of lifting and able to lift within their capabilities but would require a weights programme to be supplied by a level 1 member. Level 3 members can only use the gym with a level 1 or 2 member is present.
Age range: 16 and over.
Level 4 - All other club members who need to undergo an introductory weight lifting programme to be taught how to lift. They can only use the gym when a level 1 member is in attendance. Age range: 13 and over.
Only named instructors will be able to work with members of the gym. A qualified instructor is anyone who is a UK Athletics Coach who has a current DBS check, or anyone who has a recognised gym instructor or personal trainer qualification and is on the Register of Exercise Professionals.
The gym will only be open during the trading hours of Kingsmeadow. Members of the gym will therefore by covered by the same arrangements as track and field athletes training at the stadium. Every member must sign in and out at the main reception in the centre.
The Gym Management Team is Camilla Thrush, Mark Roberts and Pat Logan. Please contact the management team if you have any questions or comments about the gym.
The subscription for the gym is £10 per month per member. Payment will be taken on the 5th of each month via Direct Debit. We ask people to sign up for at least 6 months so that the club can cover the costs of running the gym. Failure to pay subs will result in members not being able to access the gym.
